I'm Eliana Ornelas. My political ideology...well I don't really have one. I've always gone by my parent's political ideology which is democratic.

I see myself more of a liberal just because for the first time in my life I've read up on the candidates and they both have very good points. Except sometimes Romney sticks his foot in his mouth and Obama hasn't really changed much in this country.

As soon as I turned 18 I registered to vote. Not only was it super important in my family but that year (2008) well it was an important election even though the person I wanted to win didn't win...Hilary Clinton. I wanted her to win not because my parents wanted that but because she really stood out to me. I also liked how we were at peace when it came to Bill Clinton's terms. I thought maybe she would have changed the economy, especially our debt.

Lately my political ideology is extremely irrelevant to me because all I want is world peace. I feel once we start with that our debt will just simply decrease.

I'm honestly only taking this class as a requirement. It's actually my 3rd time taking this class...I can never focus on it or gain interest on it. As much as I read material on a certain class what has helped my in most cases is finding interest in the class and talking about how awesome the class was.

I surprisingly did better on the civics quiz than the current events one....well by like a question or two. I'm not into the whole what famous person married what model or whatever. I LOVE watching movies I just don't know their real names or anything.
